As with many composers, my introduction to sample libraries began with Kontakt and Native Instruments. Over the years—through my work as a media composer with West One Music, Warner Chappell PM, SF Studios, Hulu, HBO, Netflix, the BBC and more—I moved from using sample instruments to building them. I self-taught KSP, Kontakt library development, and instrument design, and have since crafted bespoke tools for composers including Nathan Johnson, Alex Heffes, Jon Ekstrand, and others.

I spent over two years with Cinesamples, where I worked closely with the Native Instruments team through their release pipeline. This included full instrument creation (editing, mapping, scripting), NKS updates, serial coordination, and the conversion of Cinesamples Kontakt Instruments into the Musio inferstructure. During that time, I also had the chance to preview Kontakt 7 at the former NI Los Angeles HQ during their NAMM visit.

Since then, I’ve continued developing Kontakt instruments for several companies and individual composers, freelanced as a Junior Kontakt Developer for Westwood Instruments, and co-founded my own sample instrument company, inlet audio.

My experience across Kontakt development, scripting, and release workflows aligns well with the work your team does, and I’d be glad to be considered for relevant opportunities. Thank you for your time.
